Nepal – Apostolic Church Nepal
Light Chapel supports Pastor Prem and Lalita, who lead the Apostolic Church in Nepal and oversee the incredible work happening there. They run a Bible college from their own home, where students live and are trained for ministry. Once they complete their training, these students return to their home villages across Nepal to plant churches and spread the Gospel.
We’ve had the privilege of partnering with this ministry for many years—helping to see church buildings constructed, pastors supported, and young leaders equipped and trained.
Nepal – Project Saved
Project Saved stands against the devastating reality of child trafficking in Nepal. They work on the frontlines of this crisis, leading preventative programs to protect at-risk children, targeted rescue operations to free those trapped in trafficking, and post-rescue care that includes safe housing, counselling, and rehabilitation. In addition, they provide ongoing educational support, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope for the future.
In 2025, Light Chapel became one of the main sponsors of Project Saved, partnering to see lives transformed and the cycle of trafficking broken.
Asia – Empart
Empart exists to empower and partner with communities through various social development programs. We equip local leaders, empower women, nurture children, restore health, improve livelihoods, and respond to emergencies. Through our unique programs, our teams in the field provide vocational skills training, relief and development, hygiene education and medical care.
Indonesia – Hope Village
Hope Village began as a home for 12 orphaned and abandoned children in the hills of North Sumatra. Over the years, it has grown into a family for over 80 children in need and is currently home to 35 children. Hope Village has expanded beyond just a home—it now includes a kindergarten, primary school, and high school, serving hundreds of students from the surrounding communities. It also has a church that reaches the local community with the message of Jesus and serves as a community hub providing medical clinics and access to clean water.
As a church, we are honoured to personally support 10 Hope Village children, who are just as close to our hearts as our very own Light Kids. We would love for you to meet them!
